About Me

About Brittany

Hey, I’m Brittany Briscoe.

Certified Sexologist, Sex Educator, Intimacy & Relationship Coach, and Founder of Intimacy Out Loud.

I believe some of the most important conversations are the ones we’ve been taught to whisper about.

I created Intimacy Out Loud (also known as IOL) to make those conversations easier, whether they’re about sex, intimacy, relationships, communication, confidence, boundaries, or simply understanding yourself a little better.

My goal is to create a space where you can ask questions, explore what you want, and have honest conversations without feeling judged, embarrassed, or ashamed.

If you’re looking for deeper connection, healthier communication, greater confidence, or a more informed and shame-free relationship with intimacy and sexual wellness, you’re in the right place.

More Than Sex

When people hear sexologist, they often assume my work is only about sex.

It’s so much bigger than that.

I believe intimacy is about connection, communication, trust, vulnerability, self-awareness, emotional safety, and yes, pleasure, too.

My work combines education with real, honest conversations about the things that can sometimes feel difficult to talk about. I help individuals and couples better understand their needs, communicate more openly, strengthen their relationships, and feel more confident navigating intimacy.

I don’t believe there is one “right” way to experience intimacy or relationships. Every person brings their own experiences, values, questions, boundaries, and desires into the room.

That’s why my approach begins with listening.

No judgment. No shame. No pressure to fit into someone else’s definition of what your relationship, sexuality, or intimacy should look like.

What Is Intimacy Out Loud?

Intimacy Out Loud is more than a business; it’s an invitation to have the conversations we often avoid.

It’s about saying the quiet parts out loud.

It’s about asking the questions you were never permitted to ask.

It’s about replacing misinformation with education, shame with understanding, and assumptions with communication.

Through Intimacy Out Loud, I want people to feel empowered to:

1. Communicate their needs and boundaries

2. Build healthier and more fulfilling relationships

3. Understand their bodies and sexual wellness

4. Explore intimacy beyond intercourse

5. Develop confidence in themselves and their desires

6. Have healthier conversations about sex and relationships

7. Create deeper connections with themselves and others

Because when we become more comfortable talking about intimacy, we become better equipped to navigate it.

My Approach

You won’t find shame-based education or one-size-fits-all advice here.

My approach is educational, conversational, inclusive, and judgment-free.

I believe:

Intimacy should be built on safety, trust, and communication.

Boundaries deserve to be respected without guilt.

Sexual wellness is an important part of overall wellness.

Pleasure and education can exist in the same conversation.

Healthy relationships require honest communication.

Curiosity should be met with information, not shame.

Everyone deserves access to accurate and inclusive sexual health education.

Most importantly, I believe you are the expert on your own life.

My role isn’t to tell you who to be or what you should want. I’m here to provide education, tools, perspective, and support that can help you make choices that feel authentic to you.
